This course is designed to take you through a step-by-step journey, from experimenting with new sewing techniques that add texture and depth, to designing, drafting, and finally creating your first piece with personality!

Phase 1: Experimentation
Think of this as your creative playground: a deep dive into expressive sewing.

The skills I’m sharing inside this course?
I’ve been preparing for this my entire life.
🏆 The expressive sewing techniques - quilting, embroidery, appliqué, patchwork! Not only did I gain a qualification studying these, but I also won plenty of prizes for my patchwork quilts as a teenager.
🎨 The designing & detail work? I studied Womenswear at London College of Fashion, specialising in surface textiles - knit, print, and embroidery.
📏 The drafting? I fell in love with pattern drafting thanks to an incredible tutor at LCF, went on to work in the industry, freelanced as a drafter, and have now taught over 10,000 students worldwide through my signature program Design Confidence and other courses.
